1982 World Cup Poster - La Coruña
Fourteen sites were chosen for the 1982 Spanish World Cup and fifteen posters were produced to promote the tournament. The main poster for Spain was created by Joan Miró, with posters for Alicante, Bilbao, Vigo, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Valladolid, Malaga, Elche, Oviedo, Zaragoza, La Coruña, Gijón and Sevilla each illustrated by a famous international artist chosen by the organising committee.
This poster is a composite of football's most famous, including Pelé, Maradona and Sir Alf Ramsay.
