London Transport Poster - The Zoo Aquarium

'The Zoo Aquarium is for all those who like their fish in untroubled waters. Anglers can watch the famous 44 lb. carp lurching among its more possible cousins. Divers, without fear or equipment, can inspect the life in tropical waters. Sea horse or trout, eel or turtle, your underwater fancy contentedly parades at eye level.'

Hans Unger was a renowned poster designer and graphic artist. He was also a mosaicist and several of his posters reflect this.

London Transport produced posters to sell in the same print run as those which were sent out to stations. These were overprinted with 'This is a reproduction of a poster designed for London Transport'.
