London Transport Poster - Zoo Ahoy

Charming models and collaged image by John Burningham, the renowned children's picture books author and illustrator.

London Transport had several posters shops over the years, and they often sold posters overprinted with messages, as is the case with this Burningham poster. These posters were part of the original print run but overprinted to make it clear they were being sold as retail through the London Transport shop.
