Swissair Poster - Japan

Swissair was considered one of Europe's more exclusive airlines and the

company made every effort to reflect this in their public image.

At the beginning of the 1960's they commissioned Nikolaus Schwabe to produce a

series of posters representing Swissair's global market. The collages made by the

artist used motifs associated with each region, in this case a Geisha.
