Advertising Poster - Ribet Desjardins Télévision

Stunning, extremely large, advertising poster for the french electrical manufacturing company Ribet Desjardins. This original vintage poster was printed in two pieces ready for an advertising hoarding. It is now on one piece of linen.

Jean Colin was born in Paris where he worked as a graphic designer and poster artist. He studied at the Beaux-Arts and exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Decoratéurs. He was part of a group of artists, including Donald Brun, who set up the prestigious Alliance Graphique Internationale in 1951. Colin worked for a wide variety of clients including Cinzano, Philips, Air France and the SNCF.
