Alitalia Poster - Rome

Fantastic collage from a series produced for Alitalia by the printer, Amilcare Pizzi, promoting travel to Rome. The poster shows some of the architectural highlights of Italy's capital city.

Alitalia was established in 1946 as Aerolinee Italiane Internazionali. In 1957 it merged with another Italian airline and became Alitalia.

Amilcare Pizzi S.p.A. printed a series of newspaper collage posters for Alitalia during the 1960's.
