2012 London Olympics Poster - Work No. 1273

This work by Martin Creed was one of the official posters for the 2012 Olympic games held in London. Unveiled alongside works by Tracy Emin and Bridget Riley, it is a distinctive contribution to a collection recognising the creative spirit of the games. This spirit was on full display at an exhibition at Tate Britain during the Olympics and Paralympics.

Creed is a Turner Prize winner, with multi-disciplinary background in the arts. He is known for his audacious and provocative installations, with displays (often in the form of neon signage) all over the world. He lives and works in London.
