Coach Poster - Hire a Bus

Thomas Tilling commenced his commercial empire in London in 1847 and over time his family became major bus operators. In 1948 Tilling Group was nationalised under the auspices of British Transport Commission and later absorbed into the National Bus Company in 1969.
Publicity was mostly confined to these small colourful panels posted in buses.
