Day Returns Coach Poster

Gorgeous colours in this generic coach poster produced by Tillings to promote special day-return tickets. Thomas Tilling commenced his commercial empire in London in 1847 and over time his family became major bus operators. In 1948 Tilling Group was nationalised under the auspices of the British Transport Commission and absorbed into National Bus Company in 1969.
